The Little Prince: Run

Concept design by: c2ndy2c1d

I had a hard time getting the pilots hair on his head and arms to match the final concept and stay in the style without looking to weird in 3D. I am still messing with him and seeing if I can get a better handle on the hair

The Fox was really easy and fun to do. I haven't really done a lot of quad animals and feel that this is a good starting point. I still have plans to do more animals.

I took all 3 of the models and posed like the concept image. All of these models were done in Zbrush with Dynamesh. Only things not started in Zbrush were the Pilot's goggles and the Prince's sword. I am planning on modeling one of the villains; I just don't know which one yet. I am stuck between the Ant and the Lion. Ant for its legs and silhouette but I fee like the Lion would have more detail that I could show case really well.

The Little Prince

Concept design: c2ndy2c1d- “redesign for a french children’s book The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint Exupery”

I saw the sketches and thought this would be an awesome show and a really neat comic. I hope they do more with it. I had planned this to be a Speed sculpt but I really liked the way it was going and was able to do this in 2 days.

I modeled this straight from dynamesh in Zbrush; I modeled the sword in Maya just cause it was easier to layout the rings than it would have been in Zbrush.

I am messing with the Jellybean material for the hair but a lot of the color comes from polypaint. I posed the first one(BPR render) like the concept sketch and then I did the other one to give it more of an action feel.
