Lonely Love

So I re looked at some of my old models that I did last year and I looked at the Deity of love and loninesss that I had done and I really liked the concept but I execute it better now.

 I marvel at my own faults with this model. Nothing really there, bad render, no real anatomy.





 I toyed with the idea of redoing the model JUST like the first one but I just really enjoyed the way the arms and anatomy turned out that I didn't want to hide anything with design patterns or poly paint.


The Little Prince: Animation

So I have been revisiting all my animation class videos and Rigging videos and I have a nice rig and a test animation of the Little Prince. I am just about finished with the Pilot's textures maps and will have him rigged in about 2-3 days.


I used advance skeleton in Maya: nice quick tool wasn't able to do the face so I have Maya blend shapes for the eye close that I made with Zbrush. I have NCloth for the Hair and am still tweaking the settings on it. I have a simple joint chain on the scarf tail, I connected the rotation orders with the 'Connection Editor' to have it twist and bend as I need it.

Also I have one of the "villains" sculpted-well still working on it and getting the little things in and the pen cane this characters has.

I really like the steam punk feel and I worked on this character during my CG class Advance Character Creation with Katon Callaway, which I HIGHLY recommended to anyone. He's is a great teacher and an AWESOME artist.





I modeled only one glove to save myself time so I could easily mirror it over to the other hand.
 I used Maya to build this character and Zbrush to work on the textures maps and sculpted details. I used Maya to render the scene and made a simple skeleton to pose the low model.
